Cairo Criminal Court resumed Wednesday the trial of 68 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) members over charges of storming the Helwan Police station August 2013, Al Bawaba News reported. The defendants face charges of terrorism, crowding, premeditated murder, sabotaging public property and illegal possession of firearms. Investigations revealed that the defendants had attacked the police station with Molotov cocktail and stones in protest against the dispersal of the Rabaa sit-in. They randomly shot police soldiers and citizens, leaving numerous casualties.
