Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and the President of French Senate Gerard Larcher discussed the developments on the regional and international arenas, exchanging visions over adopting a unified approach to counter terrorist organizations and their ideology, Al-Bawaba News reported Tuesday. During the meeting Larcher expressed his country's appreciation for the Egyptian support to France and its people in such difficult time, He also praised Al-Sisi's wisdom leadership, which restored the country's leading role and position on the international scene, as well as congratulating him for the near completion of the second phase of parliamentary elections. Larcher stressed the importance of further enhancement of cooperation between the two countries over common challenges and interests, including the parliamentary level. Al-Sisi agreed on the importance of strengthening the parliamentary relations between the French Parliament and the next Egyptian parliament in the framework of promoting political, cultural and humanitarian relations. Al-Sisi invited Larcher to visit Egypt as soon as possible to resume discussion over Egypt's vision for the regional issues.
