Lawyer Farid Al Deeb submitted a formal request to the Illicit Gain Authority in order to reconcile with his clients Egypt's former President, Mohamed Hosni Mubark and his sons, Al Bawaba News reported Monday. Al Deeb called the authority to cancel Mubark's assets freezing decision to begin the reconciliation with the state process. Judicial source said that the authority will prefer the reclaiming of the smuggled funds abroad than the defendants prison, pointing out that the reconciliation with Mubarak and his two sons will help Egypt's economy especially after the decline of the Egyptian pound against the U.S. dollar.
