Egypt's Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held a meeting on Monday with High Council for Energy, Al Bawaba News reported. The meeting was attended by the ministers of Planning, Housing, Finance, Environment, Investment, Military Production, International Cooperation and Trade. The meeting discussed the possibility of using the solar energy in the hotels to rationalize the electricity consumption during the coming period. The initiative comes in the framework of the efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to contain the increasing consumption of electricity and to confront the expected increase in the energy prices.
