Egypt's currency market witnessed Wednesday a huge decline in the activities of foreign exchange after assigning new governor of Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Tarek Aamer, Al-Bawaba News reported. Market observers said that concerns escalated since Hesham Ramez, the acting resigned governor, was in office till end of Nov. raising wonders about his policies during the next 5 weeks. The rates for foreign currency kept inactive since the announcement of Ramez resignation which to be applied Nov. 27.
