The Port-Said Criminal Court sentenced Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Supreme Guide, Mohamed Badie, alongside Safwat Hegazy, Mohamed Al Beltagy and 16 other convicts, to life in prison over inciting an assault on Al Arab police station in the Port-Said Governorate, Almasry Alyoum reported on Saturday. At the same context, the court sentenced in absentia 10 MB leaders to 10 years in prison and 76 leaders to life in prison while it acquitted 68 others. Badie and MB leaders Mohamed Al Beltagy and Safwat Hegazy are charged with inciting MB members to storm Al Arab police station, where they helped prisoners escape and killed five policemen in 2013.
