Port Said Criminal Court resumed Tuesday the trial of former Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie and 190 co-defendants, charged with inciting an assault on Al Arab police station in Port Said Governorate, Al Bawaba News reported. The court will be examining evidence and the testimonies of several MB leaders as well as hearing their defense. Badie and MB leaders Mohamed Al Beltagy, Safwat Hegazy are charged with inciting members of the Brotherhood to storm Al Arab police station, where they facilitated the escape of prisoners and committed larceny of firearms, resulting in the killing of five policemen in 2013.
