Cairo criminal court, headed by Judge Mohamed Nagy Shehata, decided to postpone the trial of Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohamed Badie and 50 other MBs accused of carrying attacks against the state and targeting its stability. The prosecution accused Badie and 50 of the brotherhood leaders of forming plots to spread chaos within the country, and declaring an alternative government, formed by members of the brotherhood. On the other hand, Port Said criminal court, held at Police Academy, postponed the trial of Badie and 190 others, until February 2, over charges of inciting their allies to storm Al Arab police station in Port Said province, and helping its prisoners to escape, which resulted in death of 5 and injury of several others.
