Egypt's police have arrested 51 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) affiliates over the past 24 hours over violence related charges, al-Bawaba news reported Wednesday. The arrestees, MB mid ranking leaders, have been involved in inciting against police and military personnel as well as sabotaging public and private institutions, police reports said. A police source said the arrest came as a preemptive move against the banned group. All legal actions have been taken against the detainees. The MB group was listed as a terrorist organization in Sept. 2013 according to a judiciary verdict following a series of terrorist attacks, mostly in the Sinai Peninsula, claiming hundreds of lives.
