Spokesperson for Egypt's Interior Ministry said on Wednesday 73 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) middle ranking members have been arrested over terror-related crimes, Al-Bawaba News reported. The arrestees face charges of assaulting police and military personnel, sabotaging public property and planning to commit terrorist attacks, the spokesperson said, adding all legal procedures against the detainees have been taken. The MB group was enlisted as terrorist in Sep. 2013 following a string of deadly blasts claiming lives of hundreds, particularly in the restive Sinai Peninsula.
