Muslim Brotherhood (MB) affiliates assaulted police personnel Friday, in Haram neighborhood, Giza Province with Molotov cocktail and fireworks, al-Bawaba News reported. The MB loyalists staged an illegal protest after the Friday Prayer calling for the reinstatement of the ousted president Mohamed Morsi. Raising the Rabia signs and firing fireworks, the protesters chanted against the military and police personnel. Unlicensed protesting is criminalized in Egypt according to a protest law issued by interim authorities following the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi, July 2013 amid military-backed mass street protests. The MB group was listed as a terrorist group in Sept. 2013 following a string of deadly blasts claiming hundreds of lives.
