Muslim Brotherhood (MB) loyalists illegally protested Friday at Ain Shams neighborhood, Cairo, Al Bawaba News reported. Raising Rabia signs, the protesters chanted against the military and police, eyewitnesses said. Protesting is criminalized in Egypt according to a protest law issued by interim authorities in Sept. 2013 following a string of deadly blasts, mostly in the restive Sinai Peninsula, after the MB rule was ousted, July 2013. This protest comes two days after deadly attacks against more than 15 security checkpoints in Sinai, leaving dozens of police personnel killed.
