The government seeks to hold parliamentary elections as scheduled: politician

Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi issued the elections laws to show the country's willingness to complete the final step in June 30 Revolution's road map, Reform and Development Party member, Khaled Hekal said Tuesday.
Hekal added, in a statement to Al Bawaba News, that Sisi's step reflect the governmental intention to finalize the third and final step of the roadmap as soon as possible.
However, he stressed that despite his party's reservation on some articles of those laws, nonetheless he called upon all parties to accept them as they are at the moment.
