Cairo Criminal Court resumes Wednesday the trial of 68 defendants, including Mohamed Al-Zawahri, the brother of Ayman Al-Zawahri, Al-Qaeda leader, Al-Bawaba news reported. The defendants are also accused of forming a terrorist cell, posing serious threat to the national security, attacking military and police personnel and committing terrorist acts to spread chaos in the country. Cairo criminal court will try Wednesday 213 militants of Wilayat Sinai terrorist group militants over terrorism-related cases, Al Bawaba News reported. The defendants face charges of murdering, assassinate police personnel, trying to assassinate former Minister of Interior Mohamed Ibrahim, joining a terrorist group and cooperating withMuslim Brotherhood military wing Hamas.
