Cairo Criminal Court resumed Wednesday trial of Mohamed Zawahri, the brother of Ayman Zawahri, Al-Qaeda leader, and 67 others over charges of forming a terrorist cell in the case publicly known as "Al-Zawahri cell", Al-Wafd news reported. The court, during the trial, has banned filming the prosecution witness, Omar Zakaria who handed explosive devices reportedly held by the defendants to the Department of Forensic, affiliated with the Interior Ministry for examination. The public prosecution investigations revealed that the defendants are dangerous terrorists and they established a terrorist organization seeking to overthrow the Egyptian regime. The defendants are also accused of attacking military and police personnel, churches, and committing terrorist acts to spread chaos in the country.
