President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi asked Tuesday the Egyptian people to choose the best parliamentary candidates during the upcoming elections, Al Bawaba News reported. The statement came during an Iftar ceremony organized by the Ministry of Endowments on the occasion of Ramadan's Laylat Al Qadr at Al-Azhar's hall in Nasr City. It was attended by the president and a number of public figures, including politicians, journalists, artists, athletes and the young people who participated in June 30 revolution. Al Sisi confirmed that he finished reviewing the electoral constituencies law, promising to conduct the parliamentary elections before the end of the year. He said that the next parliament is very important, stressing that the parliament could be a serious tool that could stop the march towards democracy, so he urged Egyptians to choose the best parliamentary candidates to serve the country.
