U.S.-led coalition launches 23 airstrikes on IS sites in Syria, Iraq

U.S.-led International Coalition launched 23 airstrikes against Islamic State (IS) militants in Iraq and Syria, Iraqi media outlets reported Monday.
The U.S military said that the coalition's warplanes conducted 17 airstrikes on IS sites in a number of Iraqi cities.
It added that the other 6 airstrikes were carried out targeting IS sites in Syria's Kobani. Haskah and Raqqa cites, destroying a number of outposts and Boats.
The coalition has launched its war against IS positions in Aug. 2014.
