An explosion took place in Ismailia Governorate on Thursday, behind Ismailia Security Directorate, leaving no injuries, Al Bawaba News reported. Bomb disposal officers were deployed to the scene and scan the vicinity for potential threats. The bomb was remotely detonated, according to security sources. Egypt has been hit by a string of deadly blasts claiming hundreds of lives, mostly among security personnel since the ousting of former President Mohamed Morsi in July 2013.
