Three homemade bombs exploded Saturday in Cairo's Swiss district, according to Al Bawaba News. No casualties were reported. Bomb disposal officers were deployed to the blast scene to scan the area for other potential threats. Eyewitnesses said the bombs were planted by the district's main electricity tower, confirming that the tower was targeted by three bombs. Security sources told Al Bawaba News that students of Al Azhar University, affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist organization, were responsible for the explosion. In Beheira governorate, a homemade bomb exploded in front of Delengat court, leaving no casualties, Al Bawaba News also reported. A bomb squad was also deployed to scan the area for any other planted bombs.
