The committee in charge of amending the elections law discussed the proposals submitted by the political parties to the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, according to sources related to the committtee. The sources added that the committee sent a memorandum to Egypt's Cabinet, including the proposed articles and the reasons of their amendments. The State Council's Legislation Department will meet to review the laws that will regulate the upcoming parliamentary elections process. Conservatives Party has launched an initiative for an Elections' unified law to coordinate between the government and political parties and to organize the upcoming parliamentary elections in compliance with the Egyptian constitution.
