A medical delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Health visited South Sudan Thursday to discuss ways of cooperation between the two countries in the health sector, foreign ministry's spokesperson said. The 15-member delegation was received by Riek Gai Kok, South Sudan National Minister of Health, who praised the Egyptian efforts in strengthening quality of health services in his country. The delegation said that it aims to make a report about the medical equipments required for establishing new departments for dialysis and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Juba Teaching Hospital.
