Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Monday with New Zealand's Foreign Minister, Murray McCully at Cairo's Presidential Palace to discuss several international and regional issues, Al Bawaba News reported. The president praised the strong relations between the two countries. He expressed appreciaition to New Zealand's role in Sinai's multinational force and its support for the security and stability in the Arab region. The two officials discussed the latest developments in Libya and Syria, stressing on the need to find a political solution for the crises there as the only way to restore the security. Sisi pointed out that the world must support Libya's legitimate government, parliament and army. He called for suspending the financial and military supplies to the terrorist groups in Libya and Syria. On the other hand, the New Zealandean official praised Egypt's political and economic developments. He expressed his support for its efforts to regain its security and to combat terrorism in Sinai.
