Egypt's security forces arrested 14 Takfiris and destroyed five smuggling tunnels during a wide security campaign held in North Sinai's Arish and Rafah cities, Al Bawaba News reported Thursday. Security sources said that the security operations targeted several terrorist positions which were used as bases for launching attacks against army and security forces. Egypt's Sinai Peninsula has witnessed unrest since the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi July 2013, as terrorists focus their operations against police and army, especially in Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid.
