Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met Tuesday French Minister of Defense Jean-Yves Le Drian in Paris to discuss several regional and international issues, Youm7 reported. Mahlab praised the military relations between Egypt and France in reference to the Rafale deal concluded between the two countries in last February. The Egyptian official underlined the role performed by his country to combat terrorism. He stressed the need for forming the joint Arab force to deal with the security challenges facing the security in the Arab world. The prime minister said that terrorism and extremism are the major challenges facing Egypt's stability and security. He refuted the claims linking the terrorist actions to Islam. He said that they use the religion to cover their real ideologies.
