International coalition's fighter jets and Iraqi air force carried out Tuesday 59 air raids on Islamic State's (IS) sites in the cities of Baiji, Samarra and Habbaniyah, Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported. Iraq's Joint Operation Forces said, in a statement, that the coalition's jets carried out nine air raids on IS' sites at Baiji in Saladin province. It added that they left 26 IS militants dead and destroyed three vehicles rigged with explosives, IS militants' hideouts, warehouse and a location for launching of ‘mortar' shells. The statement pointed out that the Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider Al-Abadi and Defense Minister Khalid Al-Obeidi visited the Joint Special Operations Command headquarters to follow up on the military operations, particularly the ones in provinces of Saladin and Anbar.
