In his speech to Iraqis, PM Haider Al Abadi called for unification to continue liberating Al Anbar province from the grip of Islamic State (IS) militants, Al Bawaba News reported Monday. His speech came on the occasion of his meeting with Al Anbar's Governer, Sohaib Al Rawy to discuss the recent arrangements of the Iraqi military operations in the province. On the other hand, Al Abadi participated in an official funeral for the Iraqi martyrs who were killed by IS militants defending the vital Baiji refinery, north of Baghdad. Iraqi and the US-led coalition forces have successfully ousted IS from the nation's largest oil refinery after intensive clashes with the terrorists. "Iraqi security forces regained full control of the Baiji refinery," the coalition said Sunday.
