IS-loyal Wilayat Sinai revealed Friday on its Twitter account its intention of establishing a new branch for its terrorist group in Upper Egypt, Al Bawaba newspaper reported Saturday. The statement also bragged about the terrorist operations carried out by the extremist group which pledged allegiance to Islamic State (IS). Sinai has been the scene of recurrent deadly attacks since MB President Mohamed Morsi's ouster in June 30, 2013. Scores of policemen and army personnel have died or been injured at the hands of terrorist groups in Sinai.
