The official Twitter account of Wilayat Sinai (Sinai Province) released Wednesday photos of its preparations against the army entitled "sit in wait for them at every place of ambush." The photos showed militants training, clashes with military forces, and the group's leader, Kamal Allam riding a horse and holding a machine gun. The Sinai based group, formerly known as Ansar Bayt Al-Maqdis, pledged allegiance to IS in November 2014. Ever since, the group claimed responsibility for the attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel, including the attacks in Arish, which left dozens killed and hundreds injured, January 29.
