Tanta Criminal Court sentenced Sunday 23 members of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization (MB) in absentia to life in prison, according to reports. Defendants, including son of top MB leader Saad Al Husseiny, face accusations of killing four citizens in riot incidents in Tanta city, following the dispersal of Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins in August 2013. Supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi have committed murders and sparked insurgency across the nation, following the ouster of MB regime amid mass popular protests in July 2013.
