Egypt's Ministry of Investment signed an agreement Monday with French company Prisim to develop the Pyramids' sound and light show. Investment Minister Ashraf Salman announced that the project will increase the rate at which tourists visit Egypt, as well as encouraging investors and increeasing new job opportunities. In a statement, Prism announced that the project will cost almost $50 million. Last week, a committee assigned by Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damaty examined the Pyramid's lighting system and issued a recommendation to replace it.
