Horoscopes:
Love is better shared
By Imhotep
Although someone says he or she's got nothing but love for you, my dear Rams, as people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 March-21 April) are sometimes called, talk can be terribly cheap.
Pay attention.
These headstrong creatures will be especially prone to material temptations in August. Whether or not they succumb to the allure of wickedness is entirely up to them. If Rams listen to their inner voices and follow their instincts, they'll have peace of mind. If, on the other hand, they follow their whims then trouble might ensue. But you'll be happy to potter along quite pleasingly by early September.
Indeed, Rams must take a satirical look at their lives in August if they are to keep their sanity intact. Indeed, by late August, Rams will have ample opportunity to help people in need. Bless your hearts, benevolent Rams, but make sure you clearly understand the difference between pity and compassion. Imhotep urges Rams to behave as lambs in the weeks ahead.
August is a month full of surprises for Bulls, as people born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 April-22 May) are sometimes called. Lovely surprises are in store for Bulls. These sensitive creatures will have the opportunity to seek greener pastures away from home.
Taureans are ruled by Venus (the planet most associated with romance), and therefore they have an exceptionally emotional nature. The dreaded Taurean fear of being abandoned by their lovers, an emotion they have experienced too much of in the past few months, will take hold again in the weeks ahead. September is a month when Bulls will have to learn to let go of certain things they hold dear, or people they adore.
A typical Bull exhibits a sometimes frustrating indecision and prudence that paralyses them and might lead to inaction. This feeling of incertitude is especially pronounced in a Bull when life seems to change overnight from bright sunshine into utter darkness. However, there is no room for worry in the weeks ahead. Indeed, anticipate plenty of sunshine in August. The month is full of lovely feelings, happiness and plenty. Characteristically apprehensive, many Bulls habitually look out for trouble -- but they will find no trouble at all in August. Moreover, in the weeks ahead, they shall focus on amorous affairs.
A few Twins, as people born under the Mutable Air sign of Gemini (23 May-22 June) are sometimes called, are money-minded and by late August they might fret more than a little about their financial situation. They have reason to be troubled but fear not, Twins. Your financial worries will soon dissipate. All will be well, Imhotep predicts. If you could just conquer your fear, you would be fine.
Twins are wise people, all things considered. Doubting Thomases by nature, Twins never take things at face value. But in this season of love, Twins are well advised not to shoot suspicious glances at their lovers without good cause. They must not jump to conclusions when they have no absolute proof of their suspicions. There is an opportunity for Twins to build relationships free of jealousy and infidelity in the last week of August. It's a golden opportunity, so go ahead and grab it.
Some Twins are particularly susceptible to a wide range of psychosomatic disorders that can be especially virulent when the chips are down. Recovery invariably depends on the frame of mind of the individual concerned. So cheer up touchy Twins; look forward to a special candlelit dinner or a fireside chat.
Twins do their own thing. Yes, press ahead. It doesn't matter what your loved ones -- or the world at large, for that matter -- think of you. All that counts now is that you are willing to devote yourself to this task at hand. Ma the Heavens help you.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Cancer, Leo and Virgo
