Obsession or determination? All depends my dear Rams, as people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 Mar-21 Apr) are sometimes called, on how enthusiastically you strut your stuff.
Show great independence of mind. In September, sturdy Rams will have plenty of opportunities to speak their mind, to tell it as it is. What's more, all their physical and emotional needs will be attended to.
When I first introduced this column, I advised people to check their Ascendant, Love, Passion and Power signs, because these influences either profoundly moderate or accentuate a person's Sun sign attributes. Some Arians are as gentle as lambs. Others are as tenacious as a billy goat. It all depends on their Ascendant.
Stubborn and headstrong Rams will be shocked by a bracing experience that will get them back in touch with their innate sixth sense and with the more intuitive awareness side of their natures.
Arians are ambitious. They are often all too eager to reach the pinnacle of the ambitions. Remember, dear Rams, that people don't always get to their destination in one giant step.
Above all, my dear Arians, don't get stuck in a self-centred rut in September.
Your efforts, my dear Bulls, as people born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 Apr-22 May) are sometimes called, will be quite well received by one person in particular.
Ruled by Venus, Taureans are among the most sentimental and sensual of creatures. The intensity of passion beneath the carefully cultivated cool exterior means that people often misunderstand and misread Taureans.
Bulls are liable to fall under the spell of very special people in September. Indeed, September might turn out to be a somewhat difficult month for typical Taureans as far as relationships are concerned.
Be willing to think and act a little controversially, my dear Taureans. Throw down a gauntlet of challenge this September.

Imhotep knows that you've had your fill of flings, my dear Twins. It's all about power and control and you are, my dear Geminians, ready to let the games begin.
But before you go too far, be sure you're playing for keeps. Yes, a casual glance that lasts a bit too long will set your heart aflutter.
