Horoscopes:
Rollicking in July
By Imhotep
Do not expect Rams, as people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 Mar-21 Apr) are sometimes called, to make sheep's eyes at their shepherds in July. Rams are fiercely independent and adventurous. In the weeks ahead, Rams will enjoy the company of their friends and family. You shall enjoy their company, and they'll follow you wherever you go. And, I'm sure you'd be happy to know that they will be following your lead.
But my dear Rams, beware of impetuosity -- it can, if not contained, spoil some of the fun. Your boundless energy sometimes leads you astray. And, please do not ride roughshod over the sensitivities of others.
July is a romantic month for Rams. Indeed, the month will see Rams attracted to sea shores and river banks. And, on your way to the beach, my dear Rams, you might stumble upon someone special.
A fleeting affair, perhaps, by a seaside resort? Water and romance -- a refreshing combination for Rams. You might run into an old, lost friend or renew a special relationship -- not necessarily amorous, but fulfilling all the same. Mind you, there is a distinct possibility that you might rekindle an old flame.
Find a mentor in July, my dear Bulls, as people born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 Apr-22 May) are sometimes called. Find someone you respect and want to emulate whether in the work arena or more personal matters. Actively seek out their wisdom. They'll be flattered and happy to help.
Make a little bargain with someone you take on their least favourite task while you deal with theirs. The variety alone makes it more interesting, as does the gratitude.
July, and especially so towards the middle of the month, is a time when you can better appreciate the beauty in your life, my dear Taureans. Mid-July, in particular, is a period of uplifting joy and deep satisfaction. The month will treat you kindly, my dear Taureans.
Bulls, you are thinking about making dramatic changes to your home. Go ahead. July makes for perfect timing. The month is also one in which you shall have sudden and unexpected insights into the lives of others.
You'll find that you are receiving more calls from friends and family than usual towards the last week of July. You'll find that you may be able to give some good advice and council regarding some of the personal concerns of a friend or family member.
In July, Taureans will find themselves full of energy and ready to visit new places and meet interesting strangers. Travel is in the cards. Be careful, however, that you do not overspend or indulge too much in shopping sprees. But on second thoughts, why not? Live your life to the fullest, and you might make an excellent buy in July.
You're definitely not focussed, so don't struggle to bring this month into crisp and clear perspective my dear Twins, as people born under the Mutable Air sign of Gemini (23 May-22 Jun) are sometimes called. Operating heavy machinery may not be the best idea, either, but you're in a perfect state to muse productively about the future.
In July, Geminians will find themselves attracted to games of the intellect. Mind games galore, my dear Twins.
This is also a great time to be with others and to work closely with like-minded people. But, my dear Geminians, you'll have to learn how to listen more attentively.
Geminians are supposed to have split personalities, and towards the end of July, Geminians will be in two minds about a critically important decision. Listen to your inner voice, or voices, and let it be.
Try, my dear Twins, to be more attentive to the needs of others, especially those who are not as fortunate as you. Also, be more sensitive to the needs of those closest to you. The first week of July might be a testing time for Twins. But by the middle of the month comes a freshness that you, my dear Twins, have not felt for a long time.
