Horoscopes:
Lucky to be alive
By Imhotep
Let me be the first to give you the good tidings, dear Arians, as people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 Mar-21 Apr) are called. August is a month when you shall live your life to the fullest. A celebration or festive occasion will surely gladden your heart in August. But, the last two weeks of July also bode well.
You might run into an old, lost friend or renew a special relationship -- not necessarily amorous, but fulfilling all the same. Mind you, there is a distinct possibility that you might rekindle an old flame.
As August is fast upon us, be prepared for a series of pleasant surprises. Far above the storms of life, you shall prosper and be happy. But it is a different kind of happiness than what you are accustomed to. Arians, also known as Rams, are fiercely independent and adventurous. In the weeks ahead, Rams will enjoy the company of their friends and family. You shall enjoy their company, and they'll follow you wherever you go. And, I'm sure you'd be happy to know that they will be following your lead.
Indeed, August is a month when you, my dear Arians, will have many golden opportunities to rough it with friends and family.
But my dear Rams, beware of impetuosity -- it can, if not contained, spoil some of the fun. Your boundless energy sometimes leads you astray. And, please do not ride roughshod over the sensitivities of others.
August ushers in joy for people born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 Apr-22 May). The month will treat you kindly, my dear Taureans. You are thinking about making dramatic changes to your home. Go ahead. August makes for perfect timing.
August, and especially so towards the middle of the month, is a time when you can better appreciate the beauty in your life, my dear Taureans. The period is also one in which you shall have sudden and unexpected insights into the lives of others. You'll find that you are receiving more calls from friends and family than usual towards the last week of July. You'll find that you may be able to give some good advice and council regarding some of the personal concerns of a friend or family member.
Taureans are fiercely tenacious and practical people. They are adept at finding solutions to life's pressing problems. Taureans like to get to the bottom of things. You get to the heart of most situations, my dear Taureans, when you put your mind to it. In August, you'll make a positive difference in many people's lives, especially those dearest and closest to you.
Intense disagreement over money matters, however, might lead to a row with a close family member by the beginning of August. Take it easy.
Your keen business sense has never been sharper. Closing a deal is a fine art. Early August is the perfect time for you to close a deal, my dear Taurean.
So what are you waiting for?
For people born under the Mutable Air sign of Gemini (23 May-22 Jun) the third and fourth weeks of July will be hectic and testing. Geminians will find themselves full of energy and ready to visit new places and meet interesting strangers. Travel is in the cards.
Be careful, however, that you do not overspend or indulge too much in shopping sprees.
This is a great time to be with others and to work closely with others. But, my dear Geminians, you'll have to learn how to listen more attentively.
Geminians are supposed to have split personalities, and towards the end of July, Geminians will be in two minds about a critically important decision. Listen to your inner voice, or voices, and let it be.
Live and let live.
