Horoscopes:
The herd instinct
By Imhotep
June is a month when seemingly platonic friendships can spill over into the domain of sexual intimacy for Rams, as people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 Mar-21 Apr) are sometimes called.
Every now and again the stars create a month that's the equivalent of a Romantic Moon. This is it. With or without the loving card and roses, you can make it a very special month. Use your imagination and the memories of June will last for eternity.
June is also a month when Rams will be tempted to make sheep's eyes at their shepherds. Out of the blue you'll be invited to meet up with an individual or group of people that you've been interested in seeing for some time. Don't be nervous. A new door is opening. Go right on through that door... it is a new beginning.
A friend is about to prove just how valuable -- no how priceless -- they are. Without you having to ask, they'll provide you with the one thing that you really, really need at this moment in time.
And, do remember that a little tarnish would not hurt an otherwise well-polished reputation. You know that you must do your own thing and you don't usually follow the crowds. So don't.
Deep inside you don't really give a damn about what people say about you. But, you do want to know what your loved ones make of you.
Obsession or determination? All depends, my dear Bulls, as people born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 Apr-22 May) are sometimes called, on how enthusiastically you strut your stuff.
The intensity of passion beneath the carefully cultivated cool exterior means that people often misunderstand and misread Bulls. In June many Taureans will be obliged to explain themselves to loved ones or get into complicated emotional wrangles. Honesty is the best policy, my dears. Still, June holds much promise for Taureans. A freshness and zest for living will engulf you, even as you sail through troubled waters. The weeks ahead might even turn out to be precisely the stuff that dreams are made of.
Your boss has been surprisingly good about this, and your co- workers have too. So what's the problem? You know you need to give yourself some time off, and you know you deserve it. Lighten up and take it easy.
Sure it is sudden, but it's not like it hasn't been coming for a long time. You've thought about getting away for some time now. You're ready for it. You only need one more thing: forget to pack the guilt.
Twins, as people born under the Mutable Air sign of Gemini (23 May-22 Jun) are sometimes called shall tap into the powers of their higher selfhood this June.
You're bouncing off walls, my dear Twins, trying to be everywhere at once. Possibilities turn you on. You'll start anything, but chances are you'll leave it unfinished. Enthusiasm like yours, my dear Twins, is priceless. You just can't wait for the future to get here. Do you realise how close it is?
Think about how you could be more prepared to deal with new and more exciting situations. Good observers make welcome participants. In June, their would be ample opportunity for Twins to exchange ideas and share experiences with friends.
Twins are often all too eager to reach the pinnacle of the ambitions. And, in June even the star players will fumble before the Twins. So be aware of other somebody's weakness when trying to sell him or her on your strength.
Learn some discipline, my dear Twins, and you'll be amazing in June. For the real glory belongs to the Twin who markets a great idea.
In June, my dear Twins, you shall be called upon to devote more time with family and friends. How long has it been since you've spent some quality time with your friends? Without family or partners being around? There. See? It's about time you devote an afternoon or evening to a special friend, or special friends. Get the gang together at your place or better still, out of town.
