Horoscopes:
Stars in their eyes
By Imhotep
Half-formed thoughts race through the minds of people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 Mar-21 Apr) towards the end of October. Arians instinctively understand that love doesn't cost a thing.
Don't let the long wait for the object of your desire begin to frustrate and upset you. Love is in the air.
Indeed, for Rams, October brings back the magic into any relationship regardless of whether it is business or personal. Everything is entirely possible for Rams in the weeks ahead. All you have to do, my dear Rams, is to show up and be your usual sweet, charming self.
Mind you, inside the much-loved Rams, there lurks a monstrous brat waiting to escape and rampage through the lives of loved ones.
Arians sometimes think that they are at their dramatic best when they throw a terrific temper tantrum at the people they love most. Any such unacceptable behaviour will get you nowhere in October. Engagingly honest, Arians must nevertheless, be constantly reminded that being considerate is also a virtue. Remember my dear Ram, that you are neither a tortured genius, nor a genius who tortures other people, least of all those you love the most.
October is a month when seemingly platonic friendships can spill over into the domain of sexual intimacy for people born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 Apr-22 May). Still haven't had that chat? Stop stalling my dear Taurean, it is so out of character for forward creatures like your good selves. You need to get this out in the open. Procrastinating wouldn't help. Make the call, clear your throat and start out with: "I really want to talk. Will you listen?"
Emotional Taureans are ruled by the Planet of Love, Venus. And, Taurean girls will get the glamour-puss treatment in late October and early November.
Romantic Taureans, however, want the love and the glamour to last forever. The trick my dear Bulls, as Taureans are sometimes called, is never to conduct a battle of strengths. Bulls might rage -- indeed, like the proverbial Bull in the china shop -- but their most powerful asset is their inner strength.
There is a world of difference between meritorious strength of character and odious bullying. If you are feeling especially uncharitable at the moment, my dear Taurean, hold your tongue and tackle unsettling feelings head on. Know the truth and the truth shall make you free.
For Taureans, things will gather pace in November. Life most beautiful will be discovered anew. A freshness and zest for living will engulf you, even as you sail through troubled waters. A little concerned about an upcoming event? Cross that bridge when you come to it.
Twins, as people born under the Mutable Air sign of Gemini (23 May-22 Jun) are sometimes called, often display a determinedly brave countenance about infidelity. In October, and especially so in November, plenty of opportunities for flirting will cross your path. And, it might seem foolhardy not to resist the temptations.
But whatever you do, my dear Twins, don't give in to obsessional neurosis. A wise Geminian will never discuss fidelity with their partner. Very wise, indeed. In October, there will be plenty of opportunity to flirt. Clever Twins will desist from frivolous activities in the weeks ahead. Very wise, indeed.
Geminians often procrastinate. Don't defer an important decision indefinitely my dear Twin. You have big plans, but are hesitant about going ahead with your carefully thought-out schemes. The details of your plans are getting a bit hazy in your mind at the moment. Don't worry, once you put your heart to it, you can work wonders. Listen to your inner voice.
And a note of warning for Geminians this October: you'll have to make a little go a long way. Keep in mind the virtues of thrift, hard work and punctuality. You can pick up valuable information on these subjects if you listen attentively to those with more experience.
