Horoscopes:
Ups and downs
By Imhotep
Money will be first and foremost on the minds of people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 Mar-21 Apr) towards the middle of December.
Try not to be too impetuous my dear Arians. You've got far more important uses for your energy than dashing around from shop to shop comparing prices. In December, my dear Arians, you'll have to make a little go a long way.
Mind you, there is nothing wrong with paying through your nose to get what you really want. But, first of all be very clear about what you would be paying.
You're ready to make your mind up about a very serious issue. The funny thing, though, is that you don't feel particularly serious at the moment, and Imhotep doesn't mean it in a bad way.
The family is not as supportive as it should be. Female members of the family, in particular, might blame you for your predicament, claiming that it is a problem of your own making. You don't have to give them any details. Just tell them that you would appreciate their moral support. Ask them to bear with you through this difficult period. Don't bear grudges against them.
Chatting with close friends might take your mind off the awful things that have been happening in the workplace.
Take a day or two off the appraise matters before you embark on a venture.
December finds you grappling with feelings of uncertainty and low self-esteem. The feelings of failure and despair will soon dissipate towards the end of the month.
Imhotep predicts fun and excitement for people born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 Apr-22 May).
You feel relieved, ready to clear the air. Do it now. December is a very special month for Bulls, as Taureans are sometimes called. The month promises excitement and lots of fun. It is also decision-making time.
Taureans are natural organisers at work and at home. Deep inside, they love to run other peoples' lives, even though they'll tell you they don't. In December, their talents can be put to very good use.
Taureans know how to lay low and influence people and events. The Taureans' overall frame of mind is, at root, risk- averse. Contrary to their bellicose reputation, they can be the gentlest of beings.
Your intuitive understanding of the secrets of life, love and friendships is often amazingly accurate. When you feel unsure about something, there is always a good reason.
But towards the middle of the month, Taureans will be at ease with themselves and confident enough to face the big changes in their lives.
A change of focus to keep your motivation my dear Twins, as people born under the Mutable Air sign of Gemini (23 May-22 Jun) are sometimes called, is what you most need at the moment.
You might run into an old, lost friend or renew a special relationship -- not necessarily amorous, but fulfilling all the same. Mind you, there is a distinct possibility that you might rekindle an old flame.
Twins will feel a wellspring of raw energy rising within them in the weeks ahead. Your newfound energy, my dear Twins, might lead you astray. So, please do not ride roughshod over the sensitivities of others.
The Geminian propensity for idle gossip, will give way in December for more serious intellectual discussions. Geminian minds will instinctively levitate towards the lofty realm of the intellect.
But December will also find you, my dear Geminians, wrestling with a difficult dilemma. Your energy levels are high, but your work is not fulfilling. You've got your hands full, but you feel you are losing your way. Technically, there are many ways out of your dilemma.
