Horoscopes:
Patience pays off
By Imhotep
Sometimes the root of bad luck, my dear Rams as people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 Mar-21 Apr) are sometimes called, is poor judgement. Become a sharper observer and you'll find yourself on the sunny side of the street instead of stranded in the shade -- or is it the other way round this time of the year?
Learn to keep your ego out of it.
You can be brazen about it if you need to be, but a soft touch is far better. Truly entitled people take what's theirs without announcing it. Anyone could do this, but luckily for you, the Stars decree that its your turn.
Indeed, Imhotep foresees an unexpected income -- a lump sum which will help you deal with a fair share of your financial headaches, which will help you focus on romance. Imhotep predicts a very nice gambling pot and your spirits, my dear Rams.
Easy-going by nature, unpretentious Rams sometimes lack discipline, prudence and patience. But listen, dear Rams, Imhotep counsels patience and restraint. Watch your tongues. Take matters very cautiously with authority figures.
Take care not to offend others, especially co-workers, partners and parents. What you most need now, dear Rams, is heart-to-heart connections that will give you the emotional sustenance you so desire.
You can keep looking endlessly, my dear Bulls, as people born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 Apr- 22 May) are sometimes called. Or, you can make an exciting leap now. Why not throw a little bit of caution to the wind and take some romantic action? There is much to be gained and what have you got to lose?
Deep inside you don't really give a damn about what people say about you. But, you do want to know what your loved ones make of you.
Imhotep sees your hearts swelling with pride my dear Bulls in the weeks ahead. Even though, a clash between the desire for emotional security and a desperate need for creative expression awaits you, Taureans, in late October. Wait, don't rush.
Bulls shall be busy laying the foundations of future profit- making activities, networking and making arrangements for future working relationships. And, their endeavours shall bear rich fruit -- but not necessarily this year.
Patience pays off. For the time being, carry disposable tissues and your mobile phones just in case you need to reach out for your best friend at a moment's notice. Pour your hearts out to those who care to listen sympathetically. Cry buckets.
Cry and don't hold back those tears. It'll do you plenty of good. The weeks ahead are replete with tough battles -- some of these battles might even determine your future. The toughest battle, though is with oneself, especially when one tries to desist from foolish activities.
You know it is time to renovate some areas of your psyche, my dear Twins, as people born under the Mutable Air sign of Gemini (23 May- 22 Jun) are sometimes called. But that doesn't mean you have to commit to anything before you are sure. Think of this process like a salad bar. Go ahead and try a little of everything.
Brace yourselves, my dear Twins, for especially emotional weeks ahead. Ready to whisper a secret in the ear of someone you love? You'd better be, because they're just waiting to hear what you have to say. They are also ready, willing and completely able to make a commitment -- yes, contrary to your worst expectations. Just a few more weeks and you will be free from responsibility, and most importantly, from the pessimistic comments of a certain person who seems bent on ruining your happiness.
Twins can be prevaricators, but once in a blue moon they can also be doers. They are not exactly soul- searching types -- but by late October they shall be forced to rise above the mundane. Certain spiritual aspects which in your busy lives, dear Twins, have long been dormant, will come to the fore.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Cancer, Leo and Virgo
