Mahmoud 'Shikabala' Abdel-Razek is confirmed to miss the rest of the season with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon because of an injury, the Egyptian star's agent Paulo Freire announced on Monday. The 27-year-old Shikabala has yet to make his debut for the team, having played with the reserves since his arrival last winter. "Shikabala is a good player and all Lisbon officials know that, but the injury he picked up when he joined has taken him out of the coach's plans," Paulo was quoted as saying on StarAfrica. "I am sure they will prepare him for the next season," the agent added. Shikabala joined the Portuguese side a few hours before the winter transfer window closed last January, coming from Cairo giants Zamalek. He was injured in his debut for the reserve team following a fierce challenge by an opponent. "He will be the most important player in the team," Shikabala's agent predicted.
