Shikabala pleaded with Zamalek to soften their stance and allow him to join Sporting Lisbon in the late hours of Friday after the Portuguese club rejected what they considered the Cairo side's excessive demands to offload the talented schemer. In a phone interview with Egyptian satellite channel Sada El-Balad, Shikabala said Sporting considered Zamalek's demands “farcical”, few hours before the closure of the January transfer window. “This is unfair.
