Libya secure precious 2-0 win over Togo in World Cup qualifiers
Libya lead Group I of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers after beating Togo 2-0 Friday

Libya made the most of their home advantage to defeat Togo 2-0 and go three points clear of Cameroon in Group I of the World Cup qualifiers on Friday.
A seventh-minute goal by Faisal Saleh gave Libya an early lead and an own goal by Togo defender Komlan Amewou after 18 minutes doubled the hosts' advantage.
The game was played in capital Tripoli after Togo players refused to go to Benghazi because of recent violence in Libya. Some of Togo's players demanded that the match be moved outside Libya but their request fell on deaf ears.
Libya are on top of their group with nine points, three ahead of second-placed Cameroon who are scheduled to face DR Congo, who have five points, on Sunday. Togo lie at the bottom on four points.
The winners of the ten groups will advance to a two-leg playoff that will determine Africa's five representatives at next year's World Cup in Brazil.
