Egypt Under-20 skipper Rabiaa ready for World Cup
After speedy recovery following knee surgery, Ahly defender ensures his place with Egypt national under-20 team at World Cup in Turkey

Egypt national under-20 team skipper Rami Rabiaa will be ready for the U-20 World Cup finals in Turkey this month after recovering from a knee injury.
Earlier in May, the 19-year-old Ahly defender underwent knee surgery after he damaged cartilage tissue during a Red Devils' 2-0 league win over Smouha.
Initial speculations suggested that the young Pharaohs backline leader could miss the prestigious world tournament that will kick off on 21 June, but it seems he has made unexpected progress in his recovery.
"Rabiaa will be ready for the World Cup," the Egyptian youth team doctor Osama El-Shaaer said in a televised announcement late on Tuesday.
"The player is completing his rehabilitation program. He is gradually getting better and he will be fit for the tournament in Turkey," the doctor added.
Egypt, who won the African tournament last April after defeating Ghana, will be in Group B, with England, Chile and Iraq.
