Pet fish require travel permits, Cairo Airport says
If you plan to travel with your pet fish, make sure you get official documents

Cairo International Airport authorities refused to allow a Yemeni passenger to leave the country because he was carrying pet fish without any official documents.
During luggage inspection, a dark body appeared in the passenger's bag on the monitors, and when inspected to identify the content it turned out that the passenger was hiding 12 pet fish in a dark plastic bag.
The passenger left astonished and without his fish.
