Egyptian stocks have surged back into the green, the benchmark EGX30 up 1.43 per cent at 4,089 points nearly halfway through Sunday's session. The broader EGX70 is up 1.3 per cent. Turnover is around LE60 million ($10 million), with around a quarter of it involved in trade for telecoms firm OTMT. The main index lost over 8 per cent last week as a tense Egypt awaited the results of a divisie presidential vote.
