Egypt's Abd-Rabou blames injury on consecutive games
Egypt's Hosni Abd-Rabou, enjoying his time in the Saudi League, blames fatigue for the recent injury that has sidelined him pending the results of scans

Ittihad Jeddah's on-loan midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou blames fatigue for the hamstring injury that he recently picked up and has sidelined him for an indefinite period.
Earlier on Friday, Saudi reports claimed that the Pharaohs star, who was injured on Thursday during Ittihad's 1-0 victory over Jeddah rivals, Ahly, in the Saudi League, could be out of action for up to six weeks.
Commenting on his injury, Abd-Rabou told the official website of his home club Ismaily, "I became fatigued from playing many matches in a row with Ittihad; that's the main reason for the injury.
"I will undergo further scans on Saturday to determine the full extent of the injury and the needed time for rehab," added the best player in Egypt's triumphant 2008 African Nations Cup campaign.
Abd-Rabou joined Ittihad on loan from Egyptian side Ismaily until the end of the season following last month's Port Said stadium disaster on 1 February, where 74 fans were killed and many more injured. All domestic football activity was suspended, indefinitely thereafter.
The 27-year-old player recently said he was "enjoying his experience" with Saudi football, a fact he stresses again.
"I feel comfortable in the Saudi league, which is one of the strongest leagues. The quick integration with my teammates helped prove my worth during the recent matches," concluded Abd-Rabou.
