Egypt midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou is on the verge of joining Ittihad Jeddah on loan from Ismaili, the coastal club said. The 27-year-old will move to Saudi Arabia for six months after agreeing to give up his late dues with Ismaili. “There are two reasons behind my desire to make that move. First is the uncertainty about the league season in Egypt,” Abd-Rabou told Ismaili's website. “The other reason is the financial crisis at Ismaili. The loan move could help the club.” It is understood that Abd-Rabou will give up EGP 5million at Ismaili as he will receive the fees of the loan from the Saudi giants. The CAN 2008 Player of the Tournament has a contract until 2015 with the Dervishes, who are facing the possibility of having their league campaign called off, along with other 18 top-flight clubs in Egypt.
