Ismaili did not rule out an extension to the six-month loan spell of star midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou at Ittihad Jeddah but conceded they have yet to receive a bid from the Saudi side. Abd-Rabou, 27, was loaned out to the Saudi giants in the January transfer window after sports competitions in Egypt had been suspended indefinitely in the aftermath of the Port-Said disaster. “We did not receive any offers from Ittihad Jeddah for Hosni Abd-Rabou whether to extend his loan or secure his services on permanent basis,” Ismaili spokesman Abdul-Rahman Anous told FilGoal.com. “In case the Saudi club opened talks, we have no problem to negotiate with them and then we will announce our decision to the media.” Abd-Rabou has reiterated of late that he is happy with Ittihad as he said he would be honored to sign a permanent deal with the Jeddah-based outfit.
