Egypt midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou said he is sorry for his angry reaction to being substituted in Ittihad Jeddah's last game with Qadsia. Abd-Rabou, on loan from Ismaili, appeared to be unhappy with coach Raul Caneda's decision to take him off on 60 minutes as he rushed to the dressing room in anger. “First of all, I want to apologize to Ittihad fans, management and board,” the 27-year-old told Al-Arabiya TV. “It was a spontaneous reaction just because I am not used to being substituted. It was only my third game and I felt I was playing well but it's the manager's view and I respect it. “I was sad to leave the pitch as I wanted to prove my presence as a foreign player.” Comfortable Meanwhile, Abd-Rabou did not rule out a permanent deal with Ittihad, stressing that he is happy with the Saudi giants. “I am very comfortable at Ittihad, especially with my teammates. They make me feel as if I am in Egypt. Also I don't need to talk about the popularity of Ittihad as a club,” he added. “So if there is a chance to continue for another season with Ittihad, I won't say no. It would be an honor.” The incident
