Mainz manager urges Zidan to regain top form Disappointed at Zidan's performance during the last two games, Christian Heidel urges the Egyptian forward to return to goal-scoring form when Mainz meet Werder Bremen Saturday
Mainz manager Christian Heidel said Wednesday he was not satisfied with Mohamed Zidan's failure to score in two successive German Bundesliga games. He called on the Egyptian international to do his best to replicate the stunning start he made with the team when Mainz meet Werder Bremen Saturday. ‘'I am not satisfied with Zidan's performance during the last two games,'' Heidel told Kicker magazine.‘'Zidan made an excellent start with the club and we want him to maintain that form,” he added. The 30-year-old forward, who joined Mainz from Borussia Dortmund on a six-month loan deal in January, scored six goals in consecutive matches, but failed to find the net in Mainz's last two games in the Bundesliga.
