Winger Emam rerturns to Zamalek squad after three-month absence Zamalek's winger Hazem Emam returns to the team's squad after ending his three-month dispute with the club
Zamalek coach Hassan Shehata has announced on Tuesday his 20-man squad for Wednesday's clash against Ismaily in the Egyptian Premier League. The list includes Hazem Emam, who appears for the first time since the start of December when he filed a complaint against his club. The diminutive right wing-back sought to terminate his contract after the cash-strapped Zamalek failed to fulfill their financial obligations towards him. Zamalek's new-singings Nour El-Sayed, Islam Awad and Cameroonian midfielder Alexis Mendomo, who all joined the club in the January transfer window, retained their place in the team's squad. Egypt skipper Ahmed Hassan will miss the game due to automatic suspension after picking up a fourth yellow card in Zamalek's 2-1 defeat by ENPPI last week while attacking midfielder Mohamed Ibrahim was excluded through injury. Striker Amr Zaki, who resolved his differences with the club, is also out due to a minor injury. Zamalek are third in the league table with 32 points, four behind leaders and archrivals Ahly.
